I’m gonna go ahead and say the thing I think few of us say:
My journey in entrepreneurship has been an uncomfortable one.
Don’t get me wrong, I was born to be an entrepreneur, I really believe. I can’t say enough great things about the fun, the fulfillment, the accomplishments, the lessons, the challenge, and the growth. I think everyone should experience the evolution that comes when you’re an entrepreneur. There’s nothing that will ask you to grow quite like it.
But it’s not always easy and it sure as hell isn’t always comfortable. (Psst, it’s not supposed to be, otherwise everyone would do it.)
I’ve felt immense amounts of fear, self doubt, confusion, overwhelm, and uncertainty.
Those are just some of the feelings that pop up when I’m trying new things, testing, failing, being seen, daring greatly, and stretching myself.
If you’re really in it, you’ve been right there too.
I’m a Confidence Coach – and I think truths like this confuse people.
Now you might be thinking: Aren’t you supposed to help your clients squash self doubt and fear?
Hell yes – that’s the work I do one-on-one with clients every week. I help them see through the smoke and mirrors of fear, self doubt and unworthiness so they can create what they want.
BUT – a massive part of real confidence, is being able to feel all the uncomfortable feelings, and know that you’ll keep going anyway.
Because if you wait to feel great all the time, you’ll be waiting. And waiting. And waiting. And you’ll never take action. …so you’ll never get to where you want to be.
You can learn how to experience even the most uncomfortable feelings, not let them mean “stop”, get out of your own way, and keep going. It’s how every successful entrepreneur has done it before you. It’s the way.
It’s a practice, and it’s learned. You can learn it too.
To my entrepreneurs ready to level up: if you want to build confidence in yourself, your offer, and your business, send me a message. Let’s do it together.
We’ll figure out exactly where you’re at, where you want to go, and how to get you there.
Cheers to the entrepreneur’s journey.
It’s a fucking amazing one.
It’s an uncomfortable one.
And it’s the one more worth it than anything.
